"Da Vinci: The Genius" Exhibit at Boston's Museum of Science, Temporary Exhibit on Leonardo Da Vinci until Feb 26, 2017
Leonardo Da Vinci is my number one guest at the fantasy Dinner Party of Famous People. I think he is a fascinating figure. I love that he was left handed (like me!) and had hundreds of notebooks with his unique "backwards" writing. I think it's very interesting that an illegitimate son of the lower echelon of the upper class could rise to such fame. I love that he was ahead of his time with his inventions. And, of course, his artwork is unquestionably genius.
My admiration was only further stoked by Tom Riley's portrayal of him in the show "
Da Vinci's Demons."

But I found him compelling before he was portrayed by a hot actor. That's why I was excited to go to the temporary exhibit at the Museum of Science, "Da Vinci - The Genius."
Firstly, bargain hunter tip: if you're from the area, see if your public library has museum passes for you to borrow. I got free admission using Boston Public Library's Museum Passes.
