My Little Urban Garden in Springtime Featuring Dark Purple Irises
Me 'n those rose bushes had quite a time together this Sunday. However, with my shears and clippers and gloves, we got all the dead ends off and now they can thrive. I have to re-stake the the stakes and try to get some cohesive growth pattern going on. That'll be next weekend's project. For now I just wanted those irises to have their due spotlight. I did not install this garden. I probably would have gone with a keyhole pattern instead of this winding path. But it looks nice, and I think the landlord appreciates that I'm continuing his wife's work from when they lived here.
