Hmm...who would that be? I was rolling through friends in my mind but then it came to me: the person I've been closest with the longest isn't a friend. It's someone who has just became a dad last month...
My brother and I are two and a half years apart and, especially compared to other siblings I see, have been pretty close. Others would include my god-sisters (their parents are my godparents and vice versa in some way or another), whom I've known forever, though I'm not as close to them as I am my brother, and a large slew of friends from kindergarten--seven in all. Next would be my sister, then the rest of the friends from elementary and junior high school. They say having life long friends is one of the many things that contribute to the Okinawans longevity. Here's to having a hard time picking from closest/ longest people!
