Support for Scottish Independence - Nail Art
Ah, when politics and fashion can combine! Five of my 8 great grandparents are from Scotland or descended from Scotland (including two possible ties to Robert the Bruce, but I think everyone in the US is related distantly to Robert the Bruce, according to the disparaging comments I've read in Scottish contemporary literature.)
The Theme of My Nail Art: Scotland
Thistle, William Wallace face, St Andrew's flag, Scottish blue, and silver glitter to represent unicorns--the Scottish "animal" symbol. (Yeah, that's right, they picked a mythical creature!) As we all know, it didn't go through, this time around. Ah well. Next time! And all the Scots I know appreciated my nail art honoring part of my Celtic heritage.
