Can you imagine working 5 minutes down the road from Walden Pond for three years and never having visited--even growing up 45 minutes from there and currently living only 25 minutes away? But that was me, up until Thoreaus's 195th birthday. What a great site, too! Excellent walking trails, beautiful pond water, history, wildlife, and good hiking trails too. I can't wait to go back.
