This 9 minute video, which I found through a link a friend posted on Facebook via the website Boingboing, is all about a new fashion trend in San Luis, Mexico. Pointy boots with curled toes as high as your waist, skinny jean and Tribal music (a certain type of club music mixing dance beats and tribal tunes).
Totally fascinating. I wonder how or if these trends will somehow manifest in mainstream fashion. Right now it's mostly young men wearing this but I wouldn't be surprised if it somehow became a runway look!
