Sun Tea

My mom left me her sun tea pitcher; didn't pack it with her down to New Orleans. I LOVE this thing and make unsweetened iced tea in it all the time. It is so easy. All you do is add the tea bags to the filter side, then add water and leave it in the windowsill. The sun steeps the tea. Once that's down, remove the filter, which mixes the tea in the pitcher, and place the tea in the fridge, ready to drink.

Here are some tea mixtures I've made:
  • white lavender iced tea - two white lavender tea bags
  • green mangosteen and orange herbal
  • plain green and orange herbal
  • orange lavender and green
I've got earl grey, rose and mint to play with, too.
