Sometimes I think we think and talk to much about the thinking and the talking of poetry and not enough about the poetry itself. It happens in all places, MFA, PhD, anti-academia, wherever. Over time, since the blogging era, I seem to have read a lot of stuff about ancillary poetry things. It seems harder and harder to find things that are about POEMS or POETS and the poems the write (not and the gossip attached to them) and POETRY as in the words and what they mean/do.
I'm going to keep that in mind going forward and try to model good behavior, as they say in education classes.
