On the lighter side, I wanted to post yet another homage to a children's book. One of the classes I work with are reading "A Cricket in Times Square" as a class right now.

While I was in New York, I took some pictures of Times Square, with the class in mind. Last time I was in NYC, I also took Times Square photos, so I made a collage and ordered a print of it as a gift to the class.

Here's what it looks like. Pretty neat-o, if I do say so myself. And while I wasn't able to spot any crickets while I was in Times Square, I did see a few ants eating an old left behind partially eaten hot dog bun...
