It's funny, the random things kids will blurt out while coloring and working on math. "Vincent Van Gogh chopped off his ear..." nonchalantly mentioned out of no where. "Nah-uh! No way!" And then I intervened and said, "It's true." Then I talked about how he lost his mind a bit and why he was so important to the art world. I nice diversion to the routine of the day.
