Chick Pea and Beet Curry Stew Recipe

1 can of beets, chopped
1 can of chick peas
1 onion chopped
1 can of stewed tomatoes
1/2 dry rice
1/2 jar of your favorite prepared curry sauce
1/2 tsp of cumin
1/2 tsp of curry
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 tbs olive oil
2 cups of water
s&p to taste

In a large sauce pan, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Sauteed the onions, chick peas, beets, cumin, curry powder, red pepper flakes and season with salt and pepper until the onion start to get clear. Add the tomatoes, dry rice, curry sauce and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Then simmer over low heat until the rice is cooked, about 35-40 minutes.
