Carrier on PBS - continued from previous post

The other focus of the hour I watched yesterday was on a young Pentecostal man, who had --while in port in Australia (after weeks and weeks at sea) felt he betrayed his faith by "fornicating" at this place called "Balck Swan Lake", with a pretty, skinny local girl he met at a club. The day after the meeting we, as viewers, see him flirting and cuddling with her, until they go off in the distance. Back on the boat, he tells the story to his friend, who is visibly dismayed and tacitly conveys his disappointment by saying, "We're all watching you, you know."
